Chateau BMP Retrofit
Designed conveyance and infiltration facilities for the commercial bmp retrofit. Used a combination of Infiltrator Equalizer, infiltration trenches and a detention basin with specified revegetation. Received TRPA plan approval and coordinated competitive bidding with contractors.
Tahoe Lake Elementary School BMP Project
Prepared plans and specifications for this erosion control pilot project. A large stormwater detention basin was designed to treat almost 10,000 square feet of impervious surface. The Sierra Watershed Education Partnership (SWEP) and the Tahoe Resource Conservation District (TRCD) were also involved with this project.
White Pines Condominium BMP Retrofit
Designed infiltration facilities for this site that is extremely space limited. Coordinated drawings with the owner and worked directly with TRPA for approval. This project is scheduled for construction by Basile Management Practice during the summer of 2007.
Incline Creek Estates Project
The Incline Creek Estates project is a fifty-unit residential housing development in Incline Village, Nevada. This project is environmentally sensitive due to a stream environment zone (SEZ) running directly through the site. The agencies that oversee the project include the Lahontan RWQCB, the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and the Nevada Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Provided daily BMP inspections per TRPA permit requirements. Met weekly with contractor to review the weekly inspection report and to verify that all previous non-compliance issues had been resolved.
The Aspenwood Project
The Aspenwood Subdivision project is a twenty-six acre parcel in Truckee, California that is being developed for future residential homes. The work on this project includes underground utilities, road and drainage infrastructure, and temporary and permanent BMPs. This project is overseen by the Lahontan RWQCB and the Town of Truckee. Provided weekly BMP inspections in addition to pre/post storm event inspections per Lahontan RWQCB permit requirements. Performed water quality testing during storm events. Weekly meetings were held with the contractor to review the weekly inspection report and to verify that all previous non-compliance issues had been resolved.
North Tahoe High School/Middle School Project
The North Tahoe High School/Middle School is a four year project in Tahoe City, California. All aspects of the school are being updated including a brand new core building, parking lots, landscaping and BMPs. This project is overseen by the Lahontan RWQCB and the TRPA. Provided weekly BMP inspections per Lahontan RWQCB and TRPA permit requirements. Weekly meetings were held with the contractor to review the weekly inspection report and to verify that all previous non-compliance issues had been resolved.
