Our goal is to provide clients with creative, cost effective, sustainable solutions to BMP and landscaping designs. We are dedicated to developing new practices that will both protect Lake Tahoe and beautify properties at the same time. We design native landscaping solutions that reduce water consumption and the need for excessive fertilization, while accentuating the natural beauty of the Lake Tahoe region. As a design/build firm we are equipped to produce BMP and landscaping designs that are approvable on paper, as well as feasible, functional and cost-effective to construct.

Basile Management Practices is owned and operated by Rob Basile, PE. Rob studied engineering at the University of Vermont, where he earned a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Mr. Basile currently holds civil engineering and landscape contractors licenses in both Nevada and California. Prior to starting Basile Management Practice, Rob worked for a local civil engineering firm designing primarily erosion control and water quality improvement projects. With ten years of civil engineering experience in the Lake Tahoe Basin, and a lifetime of horticulture experience with propagation and irrigation, Rob brings unique experience and perspective to BMP design and construction in the Lake Tahoe Region.

Basile Management Practices also employs two dedicated seasonal construction crews. Crews are experienced in BMP construction materials methods, as well as landscaping and irrigation.
